Glug – A Fresh Take on Olive Oil

In a world where olive oil is too often a stale blend in anonymous bottles, Glug is shaking things up. Founded by Katia and Tom; two passionate food lovers, they realised many of us were unknowingly grabbing bland, blended oils in the name of quality. But both intrinsically familiar with Mediterranean kitchens (and raised with the Lebanese belief that good olive oil is basic, not luxe), they refused to accept that real extra virgin olive oil should be reserved for special occasions.

Their quest for something genuinely delicious led them to Jaén, Andalusia: the beating heart of Spain’s olive‑oil country. There, they encountered Picual olives processed the honest way; simple, natural, and vivid in flavour. Inspired, they set out to bring that grassy, peppery freshness to British tables, without the snobbery or inflated price tag. And Glug was born: single‑origin, cold‑pressed, and irreverently fun.
