UK Standard Delivery
£4.95 Standard Delivery on all UK orders and FREE on orders over £50 (excludes Vintage furniture and Wallpaper)
Standard Delivery includes UK, Highlands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.

- All standard orders are sent via Royal Mail tracked service.
Just a heads up - our courier adds a £20 surcharge for parcels that are either extra large or heavy. So if your order includes one of these items, it sadly can’t go with our free delivery option and will need a little extra for postage.
Wallpaper
- Wallpaper samples are sent for FREE via Royal Mail.
- Wallpaper by the roll is delivered at a standard flat rate of £14 with a delivery time of 3-4 weeks.
DHL Express Courier service:
- Need your order in a hurry? Express DHL Courier service charged at £7.50, for delivery in 1-2 days.
- This is a fully trackable 48 hour service from date of despatch. Orders using this service often arrive next working day.
- We aim to pick, pack and despatch your orders within 1-2 working days (Mon–Fri), this may take longer during busier times of the year. Please note that we do not despatch orders on weekends and bank holidays, please take this into consideration when placing your order.
- We offer click & collect from our Nailsworth store. Please select this option at checkout.
- We will aim to have your item ready to collect next day.
- You will receive an email notification when your order is ready to collect.
Furniture and Large Items
- For UK wide delivery, shipping is charged separately. Prices will be calculated on an individual basis based on the size and weight of the item and your location. Simply get in touch with your postcode and we will be happy to arrange a quote for you.
- We use Proovia, a reliable nationwide 2-man courier service to ship our furniture and larger items.
- You are welcome to organise your own van courier collection if you would prefer.
Free Local Delivery
- Furniture and larger vintage items can be delivered for Free within a 10 mile radius* of our Stroud warehouse or you are welcome to arrange your own collection.
- As we are a small team we will aim to deliver within a 10-day timeframe, we will contact you to discuss a suitable day and time and let you know if we need a hand unloading the item at your end.
Small Vintage
- Smaller vintage items that we hold stock of are available to 'add to basket', for these items our standard delivery charges apply. We use a tracked service using either Royal Mail 48 or DHL.
- Royal Mail Tracked £4.95 under £50 / FREE on orders over £50.
- If you need your order in a hurry, you can upgrade your delivery to DHL courier service for £7.50.
- Orders placed before 12pm will be despatched the same day for delivery within 1-2 days.
Delivery times:
- We aim to pick, pack and despatch your orders within 1-2 working days (Monday – Friday). This may take longer during busier periods such as Christmas.
- All standard orders are sent on 48 hour tracked service.
- Please note: We do not despatch orders on weekends and bank holidays so please take this into consideration when ordering.
- We use Royal Mail 48 hour tracked courier service for our standard delivery service.
- Express orders are sent via DHL courier, this is a 48 hours tracked service but usually arrives next working day.
- We do not currently offer international delivery (including Channel Islands), however please contact us and will be happy to provide a shipping quote for you.
Online Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your order, products can be returned to us in their original packaging for a full refund including standard delivery. You have 14 days to cancel (from day after delivery) and 14 days to return. You can either post your goods back to us, or return the items to one of our stores
Returning your goods: The cost of returning your unwanted goods safely is the responsibility of the buyer, we therefore suggest you return the items using a recorded delivery service.
Proof of Purchase: Please include your original packing slip as proof of purchase or complete our returns form.
Refunds: We will issue a full refund to the card used when placing the order, excluding any delivery charges. Please allow up to 2-3 days for your refund to be processed from the date we receive the goods.
Please ensure that the goods are returned in perfect saleable condition, in their original packaging.

Domestic Science / Returns

Returning items in-store:
You can return goods bought online to any of our Domestic Science stores. Please print and fill out our returns form to bring with you.
Please note the shop staff will be unable to process a refund immediately. The item will be transferred back to our central warehouse where our Web team will issue your refund.
You will receive email confirmation of your refund once complete. If you are in need of an exchange, please contact us before you visit the store.
The following products are non-returnable:
- Food and drink.
- Underwear.
- Earrings.
- Beauty items and cosmetics that have been opened, tested or partially used.
- Domestic Science Gift Cards.
- Face coverings.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
We take every care to make sure your items arrive in perfect condition, if for any reason your order is faulty or damaged, we will cover the cost of the return.
Please email us with photos of the damaged goods within 3 days of receiving your items, along with your order reference number, and we will organise either a refund or a replacement to be sent out to you.
If you would like to exchange an item, please email us so that we can check and confirm stock availability before returning your item.
Returns for In-Store purchases
- Products can be returned up to 30 days from date of purchase.
- All goods must be returned with matching receipt as proof of purchase.
- Items can be returned to any of our Domestic Science stores.
- Products must be in ‘as new’ condition with all tags attached.
- Items may be returned by post. The cost of returning your unwanted goods safely is the responsibility of the buyer, we therefore suggest you return the items using a recorded delivery service.
The following products are non-returnable:
- Face coverings.
- Food and drink.
- Underwear.
- Earrings.
- Beauty items and cosmetics that have been opened, tested or partially used.
- E-vouchers and gift vouchers.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
