If Domestic Science had to choose a favourite brand this one takes first place. We love its pure simplicity and utilitarian inspiration. The fact that so much of it is repurposed makes it super sustainable.
Puebco began life in Tokyo in 2007 on a simple impulse of its founder, Hirotaka Tanaka. He wanted to create the things he envisioned instinctively without the thought of sales or marketing restricting his design process. He scours Asia, finding inspiration in defunct, discarded items that merit new purpose. Puebco breathes new, inspired, life into old, using much ex-military apparel, camping gear and dead-stock fabrics, transforming them into new useful items for daily use.
