The Inspiration
Falling for a classic 19th century faux bamboo frame that she found in a Normandy Brocante, Libs set out to find a way to perfectly replicate the original - flaws and all! Working with a local manufacturer, each replica has been moulded directly from the original antique using a unique composite of hard wearing wood ‘flours’ and resin. This clever process faithfully honours every perfectly imperfect surface detail from the original, including the charming layers of worn paint that show its history.

Pop of Colour
To elevate the faux bamboo frames we have collaborated with fine art print studio Roomytown who have created a limited number of custom giclee, vintage inspired prints featuring a rainbow of watercolour paint swatches to sit perfectly within the frame, the finished piece a joyous pop of colour to add to your very own gallery wall.

Bobbin Lamp
The Ditto Collection also features a unique bobbin lamp stand, designed by Libs and moulded directly from a series of found spherical objects. The lamp stands, inspired by the ornamental charm of antique bobbin furniture have been hand painted in 3 custom colours by Little Greene for a contemporary finish. A delightful piece of functional sculpture to add to a modern or traditional interior.
