Vintage botanical prints featuring a selection of beautifully illustrated fruits. Mounted in a hand crafted 'Bobbin' frame and finished in coat of Farrow and Ball's Breakfast Room Green paint.
Each print is an original, hand coloured lithograph dating from the 1870's.
William Mackenzie was a well-known publisher in the 1870s and specialised in natural history, flora and fauna following many expeditions around the world. He created high quality publications containing these beautiful high-colour illustrations of the many beautiful plants that he discovered on his travels.
