How to: Easter Tablescape
Easter has hopped its way in to our stores, so taking inspiration from our displays created by our talented visual merchandising team, we thought we'd share with you how to bring a touch of Spring themed decor to adorn your own homes in celebration of Easter.
Easter Branch
Pick up a pair of secateurs and head outdoors to forage for your own Easter tree, we like curly willow for its eccentric curls or cherry blossom with some buds but any branch with a few shoots suitable for hanging your decor will do. Alternatively, pop to your local florist for some foliage inspiration.
Select your vessel
Try a terracotta planter, vintage stoneware pot or large vase fill with soil and moss, florists foam or gravel to secure your branch and you have your base ready to start decorating
Get hanging
Enjoy a crafternoon (an afternoon of crafting, preferably with friends and a side of tea and cake) and paint your own eggs to add a unique personal touch to your easter branch, mix and match our paper eggs and why not wire on a few fluffy chicks for a good dose of kitsch cute.
Set the table
Using your Easter branch as a centre piece you can start to create your tablescape. Try a mix of candle holders and mini bud vases of different heights filled with colourful candles and single stems of cut flowers, dot at intervals along the centre of the table for a relaxed and colourful approach.
Tip: Our mini greetings cards complete with fluffy tails make perfect name cards for setting the table
And lastly, of course no Easter table would be complete without an assortment of chocolate eggs. Our boxes of beautiful speckled eggs, filled with praline and salted caramel will be sure to charm your guests, that's if you can resist not eating a few before you're ready to serve your Sunday lunch.
