This little beech stool has its original dark varnish which shows all the signs of use over the last 100 or so years. The mellow beechwood showing through gives the stool a warm tone.
The seat has been reupholstered in a natural hungarian hemp textile with a pair of triple blue stripes running through the centre. The upholstery finished off by a single row of antique style brass domed studs. The stool has four sturdy, turned legs and a central shaped crossbar which have developed a lovely patina over the years and is a sound condition.
This stool would be perfect for a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and would bring an informal, understated look.
