About Wonki Ware
Wonki Ware ceramics and tableware are lovingly hand crafted in South Africa by artisans. Many of the workers are from disadvantaged backgrounds, but thanks to the remarkable success of Wonki Ware have been able to build careers and work together to uplift their local communities.
Each item is made by hand, undergoing up to 15 different processes from clay to table. These hand crafted ceramics are meant to be used and enjoyed everyday, each piece having their own unique shape and characteristics making them a work of art in itself.
