Vintage Grain Sacks
The humble grain sack holds centuries of stories. Early European grain sacks were handmade on small gauge looms right on the farms where the flax was grown, harvested and spun. Used by farmers to carry their grain to market, most sacks were monogrammed with the owner's initials or a unique combination of stripes so that the sacks and their contents could be easily identified and traced back to the farm.
